The dialogue

“I remember…
at the end of the days, when the nights were young
walking into a room full of you
empty chairs everywhere, but no place to sit
every inch of space taken up,
by the things we’d never say.

…I wanted to live in a world of words
where mysteries were solved and questions were answered…”

“But words give birth to absolution,
and there’s no more room to dream.
How can I breathe if I can’t imagine,
that strangers with dead eyes can light up too?”

“Unlock to me the world that’s inside your mind
on a quiet night when the world’s not watching
Someone once told me long ago,
that the stars keep secrets longer than the sun.”
